President Barack Obama embracing his wife Michelle Obama
Social media's most shared picture
Friends, I am in mourning. The defeat of Mitt Romney of the Grand Old Party, whose followers are somewhat similar to the dharm-ke-thhekedar or the upholders of faith in our own country, has left me heartbroken.

Despite my earlier promise, I have decided not to relocate. You have every right to call me a flip-flopper, because even in 2008 I had declared that I would move out of this damned country to Canada or India if Barack Hussein Obama won the raceI did not come to this country to be ruled by a black personbut eventually stayed here to provide moral support to the losers.

I am appalled to see so many Indian friends ecstatic at Obama’s win. I suppose they are swayed by his wishy-washy rhetoric which is obviously compiled by his speech writers. What is the matter with you, young India? Have you forgotten our great culture and glorious traditions, which even a person like me, living thousands of miles away, tries to keep alive? Don’t we have enough leaders of our own, like Swami Vivekananda or Nitin Gadkari to swoon over?

This adulation and adoration of a black person, holding deplorable liberal views, will definitely leave the moral fabric of our society in tatters. It will encourage the young people to think on their own instead of blindly following the rules set by the older generations. We must not forget that our scriptures teach us to obey the elders without questioning.

Although, the entire ideology of Barack Obama is abominable, I want to list a few of the offensive traits that have been troubling me for years.

1. Obama’s lineage: What would you think of your neighbor’s white daughter, who marries her black African boyfriend when she is three months pregnant and leaves him when the baby is not even a month old, and then later on goes on to marry an Indonesian Muslim? I am sure none of you would like your kids to study or socialize with her baby when he grows up, leave aside voting him into the presidency.

2. Public display of affection: Look at the picture. He behaves as if he is a joru ka ghulam or a henpecked husband. Instead of taking blessings from the elders, he gives so much importance to his wife. This sends a wrong signal to our youngsters. Indian men are not supposed to show affection for their wives even in private. The elders in the family usually work overtime to keep this tradition alive. Now stop ogling at this indecent picture, in which Michelle Obama has not even taken care to cover herself properly, and keep in mind that a wife is meant to work in the kitchen for your family during the day time, and make you happy at night.

3. Obama’s views on women in general are as horrifying as his personal acts. The first bill he signed into law in his previous term was equal-pay legislation. He thinks that women should have equal rights even at work places. This year there are more women in the Senate than ever. Only God can save this country! Obama’s party thinks that a woman has a right over her own body, that she is the one to decide whether to have an abortion or not. These people don’t respect God’s will. I guess this is the reason why God has punished Obama by giving him two daughters. I wonder who will support Barack and Michelle in their old age. Girls are after all paraya dhan, meant to be given away in marriages.

4. His support for gays and lesbians is the reason why hurricanes such as Sandy have been battering this nation. He is said to be "so absolutely delighted" by marriage equality wins in a few states. Let us hope good sense prevails. Instead of blaming the global warming for severe weather conditions and squandering resources on green energy, the President should ban all types of relationships which are not approved by the holy books.

However dejected I might be, I am able to console myself with these words, “This too shall pass.” I am ready to face the ordeal for four more years because I believe that instead of relocating, my stay will benefit this country and the world at large. I will keep propagating the morality and values instilled in me by the elders of our society, especially the Khap leaders. But if the Republicans don't come to power in 2016, I will seriously consider relocating.

  8. I am happy that he was not born in our country and did not contest elections from here. The voters would have shooed him away like a dog.

  10. @Aunty - reply from young India!!Great Khap Panchayat! Indian culture in USA and Nitin Gadkari compared to Swami Vivekananda! Superb! Were you drunk when you wrote all this! You stay back in Atlanta only, India me aap jaise logon ke liye koi jagah nahi, jinke paas thoda kam dimag hai! Would have appreciated if this article was a funny one, but it wasn't and by the way, you are a very bad writer, so stop writing and try to meditate, Dimag badega thoda sa!

    Chalo Namaste Aunty!!
