Jawaharlal Nehru: What is Hinduism?

 

Hinduism is pluralistic, and this contributes to the beauty and tenacity of this religion. This video is based on a short chapter written by Jawaharlal Nehru in The Discovery of India. Through it, we learn a brief history and some important concepts of Hinduism. Nehru's Hinduism promotes love for the entire humanity. It raises human beings above the divisions and hatred propagated by a few of the narrow-minded religious and political leaders and their followers in the name of Hinduism.
